A new tale set after the Mersey tunnels have been bricked up and the Runcorn bridge blown up – Leaving the Wirral stranded and isolated. Without any link to Liverpool - the Wirral peninsular and the “wirrilians” (were all aliens) are forced to adapt to a new way of life.
At the beginning of last year I was writing three things at the same time, and it didn’t work, I couldn’t do it,” says Nicky Allt. “I can do two as long as they are different genres."
